Short answer

While swimming over a bubbly area in the Seaflower Festival diving game, press Space. Players report this input working when mouse clicks did nothing. Version 1.03 also fixes diving spots that could only be interacted with using Space.

This answers the festival problem where you are already in the water looking for underwater orbs. It is not a fishing-rod action or a complete festival scoring guide.

From swimming to diving

  1. Locate a bubbly area in the festival water. The PC input reply places the interaction over the bubbles, not anywhere in the sea.
  2. Swim over that area.If you have only approached its edge, reposition over the visible bubbles before retrying.
  3. Press Space with the game focused.A second player explicitly says Space worked while clicking did not. Check your own input bindings if you changed them.
  4. Check whether the dive starts.Entering the dive is the result supported by the report. The sources do not establish the number of orbs per dive, a winning score or a guaranteed reward.

Why mouse clicks may do nothing

The first reply suggests Space or right-click; another player could only use Space. An independent question describes swimming to the bubbles and clicking without diving, and receives the same Space advice.

Check for version 1.03 before treating this as an unsolved mouse-input bug. The official patch notes fix Seaflower Festival diving spots that only accepted Space. They do not name a replacement mouse button or verify every remapped layout, so this guide retains the player-reported keyboard route rather than inventing a universal mouse mapping.

If Space also fails

Recheck that you are in the festival diving activity, positioned over its bubbles, and using your current interaction binding. These are checks inferred from the reported successful sequence, not a confirmed repair for another failure. If it still fails, record your version, input device and whether the dive animation starts when reporting the issue.

No controller mapping or guaranteed fix for a broken quest state is established by these sources. Festival diving also does not establish where ordinary seafloor crafting sand can be collected.

For the festival outfit and later pool access, see waterwear and the Seaflower Festival. For rod casting, use the separate fishing controls guide.
